數字平台已經成為當代公眾獲取信息、表達意見、展開交往和日常生活的重要媒介。其中部分平台因其大規模的用戶、分佈的泛在性，及深遠影響力，甚至成為社會運行的重要基礎設施。數字平台並非一個統一、均質的媒介空間，而是包含不同的媒介可供性構成，創作者與使用者等不同群體（各自內部又可進一步細分），流動著不同的話語，與不同的生活場景和情境相互勾連，嵌入並建構社會，產生不同層次的影響。透視華人社會的數字平台，如同觀察一塊稜鏡，需要基於多樣化的現實和經驗材料，運用不同的理論資源，對平台技術、創作者、話語、使用及社會影響等，進行多元化的細緻分析。本期論文正體現出這種特點。

        可供性是媒介技術使然行動的可能性，是平台運作的基礎。周樹華、付曉靜和張若為撰寫的ICA年度雙語論文，聚焦短視頻平台的可供性及其賦權潛力，比較分析創作者與使用者兩類不同群體的感知，發現活躍積極的內容創作者相對於普通使用者，對短視頻可供性和賦權效應的感知均更顯著。與此相關，另兩篇論文直接聚焦平台內容創作者。李翠和劉思雨運用紮根理論方法，研究文字內容創作者面對算法不穩定性時所展開的可見性實踐，並提煉出「自我優化、聽任、推拉和遷移」四種可見性的實踐類型。尚丹蕊和李華君則聚焦「母嬰博主」這一更具體的內容創作者群體，在批判學派視域下，探討其在家庭內部的生產如何服務於資本主義的生產方式，及父權資本主義在此過程中如何借助媒介技術維持和再生產性別不平等。

        李雪晴、果蕾和符寶瑩的研究聚焦社交媒體使用與心理後果。她們基於健康議題的實證研究發現，不確定性差異會增加個體通過社交媒體接觸健康信息的行為，減少信息迴避傾向；然而，使用社交媒體獲取健康信息和信息迴避都不能減少健康焦慮，只有當不確定性差異作為一種動機減少信息迴避時，才能減少健康焦慮。該研究揭示社交平台的使用和效果需要置於個體認知與動機情境下加以理解。

        徐翔和王若茗的研究集中於平台話語及其演變。他們通過對《今日頭條》帖子的計算傳播分析，發現主題振盪的週期特性與其「主流」程度顯著相關，即文化主題能夠通過隱性時間波動重新分配文化權力，影響其主流化過程。馬燁的論文同樣分析話語（儘管選擇的是傳統媒體），通過對《人民日報》近80年報導的話語分析，探討了民粹主義概念的類別化建構與話語流變過程。

        橫看成嶺側成峰。本期論文圍繞數字平台等議題展開多元視角的分析，題材多樣，論述豐富，相信可為讀者帶來啓發。

Digital platforms have become crucial mediums for the contemporary public to access information, express opinions, engage in interactions, and navigate daily life. Some of these platforms, due to their massive user bases, ubiquitous distribution, and profound influence, have even evolved into critical infrastructure for societal operations. Digital platforms are not a unified, homogeneous media space; rather, they encompass diverse groups such as creators and users (each of which can be further subdivided), flow with varied discourses, and are interconnected with different life scenarios and contexts. They are embedded in and shape societies, generating impacts at multiple levels. Examining digital platforms in Chinese societies is akin to observing a prism—it requires drawing on diverse realities and empirical materials, utilizing various theoretical resources, and conducting multifaceted, detailed analyses of platform technologies, creators, discourses, usage, and societal influences.

The papers in this issue exemplify this approach. For instance, one ICA annual bilingual paper focuses on the affordances of short-video platforms and their empowerment potentials. Two papers specifically analyze content creators’ practices in pursuing visibility, as well as the capitalist control and gender inequalities in the production of “maternal and child-rearing bloggers.” One study analyzes social media usage and effects in the health context, while two others examine discourses and their evolution on digital platforms and traditional media. The papers in this issue thus present multi-perspective analyses on topics focusing on digital platforms, covering diverse subjects and offering rich discussions, which we believe will provide valuable insights for readers.
