| Abstract |
The conversation explores the evolving social life of artificial intelligence (AI), foregrounding the ethical, behavioral, and epistemological stakes of emerging technologies at the intersection of communication and information science. Through critical reflections on crisis informatics, trustworthy AI, organizational adaptation, and inclusive design, the dialogue underscores the vital role of interdisciplinary collaboration in navigating complex socio-technical challenges. It calls for a renewed commitment to responsible innovation, the protection of human agency in AI-mediated systems, and the development of data infrastructures that recognize and respond to social diversity. Ultimately, the exchange affirms the indispensable contribution of communication scholarship in shaping a more just, inclusive, and human-centered digital future.
