摘要 |
本文以兩個國外個案為例,析論框架理論,不管在學理上,或在實際應用上,都有做為危機傳播最新策略的潛力。
近代發生危機的機率日增,危機帶來的災害日大,危機的種類各有不同,處理的方式也各異。本文討論危機傳播一新耳目的跨領域觀點,及相關跨學門研究,並以個案的分析及與文獻的比較,指出源自社會學的框架理論,如果恰當的應用在危機傳播上,能有出人意表的成效。

Abstract |
This paper revisits two cases in the United States to demonstrate that framing, in theory and in practice, is a very effective strategy during crisis communication.
The occurrence of crisis situations has increased drastically in the past few years; with this increase also come serious disasters and various ways of managing them. This paper discusses different perspectives on crisis and crisis communication across different academic fields and from different angles. It also illustrates that framing theory, which originated from the discipline of sociology, can be surprisingly effective when it is properly applied to crisis communication.
